Women’s Newsboy Hat Sewing Pattern

~ Use this hat pattern with a mid-weight woven material – choose a cotton, polyester, wool or anything you like! Line your hat with any satin or basic lining material.

Yardage requirements:

For main fabric (min. 45″/114 cm width):
~ 1/2 yard (0.46 meters)

For lining fabric (min. 45″/114 cm width):
~ 1/4 yard (0.23 meters)

Broadcloth cotton for internal facing (min. 45″/114 cm width):
~ 1/4 yard (0.23 meters)

Iron-on (fusible) interfacing (min. 22″/56 cm width):
~ 1/4  yard (0.23 meters)

Heavy felt-like fusible interfacing (min. 45″/114 cm width):
~ 1/4  yard (0.23 meters)

~ This pattern includes women’s sizing S-L; this accommodates a head circumference range of 21 1/2″- 23 1/2″.

~ A serger or overlock machine is always nice to have; however, it is not a requirement for this pattern.
